With beautiful, healthy teeth and the right bite for a successful future
In the bite development phase, teeth and jaws can be moved into the correct position more easily than later, as there is still adequate growth potential.
The foundations for a beautiful and functional bite are laid at a young age
An initial assessment should be made no later than the age of 9-12 years, if not done earlier, so as not to miss the ideal time to begin orthodontic treatment.
The right time for treatment is determined individually and depends on the current misalignment
For every teen, the ideal time to start treatment varies based on jaw misalignment and the progress of tooth change. As a general rule, however, it should be sometime between the ages of 9 and 13. During this phase of life, growth processes are the greatest, so that tooth eruption can be managed and the formability of the tissue and functional orientation of the gums is particularly good.
Orthodontic treatments are used to correct tooth and jaw misalignments and lead to an optimal interaction between the teeth, gums, jawbones, and temporomandibular joints
As a result, overstress and misloading from chewing are avoided, dental care is simplified thanks to straight teeth, and the risk of tooth decay and periodontitis (inflammation of gums) is reduced.
In addition to improving dental health, orthodontic therapy helps to create beautiful, straight teeth and a radiant smile.
We can help every teen with these:
Removable braces
Removable braces are typically used when there are still baby teeth or not all of the permanent teeth have completely erupted. Removable braces are divided into plates, functional orthodontic appliances, and retention devices.
Visible fixed braces
Fixed braces (multi-bracket appliance) consist of brackets, small metal plates that are bonded to the teeth with an adhesive, and super-elastic metal archwires that connect the brackets together and are responsible for forming the dental arches.
Nearly invisible braces / Invisalign
The Invisalign system is almost invisible, is very comfortable to wear, and allows orthodontic treatment to be easily integrated into school and working life. This ensures that the social environment is barely impacted by the orthodontic treatment.
Invisible braces
In the case of the lingual treatment, the brackets and archwires rest on the inside of the teeth, so that the braces are not visible from the outside and allow the highest aesthetic comfort already during treatment.
