Removable braces for children

Working together for a beautiful smile

Removable braces are typically used when there are still baby teeth or not all of the permanent teeth have completely erupted. Removable braces are divided into plates and functional orthodontic appliances.

Removable braces are divided into plates and functional orthodontic appliances.

With plates, the upper and lower jaws can be stretched to make room for erupting teeth or to correct malocclusions caused by narrow jaws.

Functional orthodontic appliances (activator / double bite-jumping plate) are used to promote growth.

Of course we can make braces in your favorite color and with glitter.

Plates

Active plate

The active plate is a removable brace with a screw for stretching the jaws. This screw is activated regularly at home.

Opposing jaw arch plate

The opposing jaw arch plate is a plate in the upper jaw, the labial arch of which is extended so that it rests against the lower anterior teeth when biting.

Thus, the lower anterior teeth can be restrained and growth of the lower jaw can be inhibited to some extent.

Functional orthodontic appliances

Activator

The activator is a removable, contiguous device for the upper and lower jaw, which lies loosely in the mouth. This apparatus promotes growth of the lower jaw and thereby corrects the position of the jaws relative to one another.
The brace uses only mouth muscle forces as a source of power.
Die Spange nutzt als Kraftquelle ausschließlich Mundmuskelkräfte.

Double bite-jumping plate

The double bite-jumping plate consists of two active plates for the upper and lower jaw.
The upper jaw plate has guide bars that lead the lower jaw into a further forward position. This promotes the growth of the lower jaw.
